Most Nollywood press releases are ignored. They arrive with uninspiring subject lines, dense blocks of text, low-resolution images, and information that was already on Instagram three days ago.
The press release that gets read has a subject line containing a genuine news hook. Not "XYZ Film Announces Release." Something like: "First Nollywood Film Shot Entirely in Delta State Announces December Premiere."
High-resolution images are not optional—they are the price of entry for print and digital media coverage. And follow up with a phone call, not just an email.
